Tina Bettison: Inspiration for Hungry Souls

finding my own voice and helping you find yours

Hello

Welcome! Come on in, take a seat and join me for a while.

welcome chair 225x300 Hello

The chair of welcome, just waiting for you.

Winter is well upon us, though the snowdrops are blooming already and my hellebores are flowering prolifically. On the dark and gloomy days I set my imagination to ponder how much energy there must be in those snowdrop bulbs. How much energy must it take for the stems to push out from the bulb, up through the sodden and frosty earth, to emerge triumphant and then flower so beautifully and delicately. Nature is just amazing.

I imagine myself as that bulb, garnering the energy to germinate new projects, which are now just starting to peek through. Along with nature’s emergence, I am creating my own. I hope I can produce something as beautiful as those snowdrops. Here’s what I’ve been germinating:

My Voice: here you will find the articles I write when the urge takes me. They are my ponderings on life, the universe, nature and anything that sparks my creative fire. Writing is one of the ways my voice finds its expression. Having lost my voice for a while and then found it again in the veggie patch, having a place to express my thoughts is very important.

Your Voice is a new venture where I’ll be helping you to find your own inner voice - your own story, what you want to say to the world – and how best you can express yourself, from public speaking and presentations to blogging and tweeting. You might think you haven’t much to say or that no-one will listen. But someone out there needs to hear your voice; someone will be inspired, encouraged, galvanised or comforted by your story. Not everyone, but someone. So it’s important that your voice can be heard and that someone can find you.

Tina Talks To… is my collection of interviews with some fabulous people (artists, authors, musicians, literary agents, entrepreneurs). Over the coming months I’ll be adding to that collection and broadcasting an online radio show – a showcase of people who have found their voice, with ideas and inspiration for you in finding yours.

And I’ll still be pondering all things beautiful and inspiring on my blog.

If you’d like to keep updated on my voice and finding yours, then join me on Facebook, follow me on twitter @tinabettison and/or sign up for a monthly (no more, I promise) newsletter of inspirations and updates.

cup of tea 150x150 Hello

Can't resist a coconut tart with a cuppa!

Fancy a cuppa now? And perhaps a wee tartlet?
