Speaking

baker boy favourite 210x300 SpeakingPublic speaking is something I really, really enjoy so if you are looking for a speaker for your event and one of my subjects will fit your bill then get in touch… tina@tinabettison.com

I’ve been speaking in public since I was in Brownies. I have great memories of telling stories around the camp fire, and entertaining audiences at everything from the Girl Guide Gang Show to school plays. I have often been asked to stand in when the booked speaker didn’t turn up as well as being invited to speak at events as varied as personal development networks, women’s groups, WI’s, book launches and conferences.

Here are the subjects I currently speak on:

Finding Your Own Voice

Telling your story is a powerful way to connect with other people and we do business with people we connect with. This talk will explain the skill of telling your story, through the telling of stories, and give a whole host of tips on how to do it and do it well.

This talk is great for women’s groups and business networks. It can be a short 30 mins introduction or a full day workshop or anything in between.

Here’s a clip of me at Yes! Group In Nottingham  http://youtu.be/6af_IQdi4fk

‘I was at the recent Yes network event in Jury’s Hotel and it was lovely to hear your stories, thank you.’ Kevin Price

‘I have heard Tina speak. It changed my life.’ Portia Green, Meerkat Telemarketing and Marketing Farmers www.marketingfarmers.co.uk

Horse Addict to Talk Show Host

How one little book and a chance conversation over dinner took me to presenting on local radio, hosting my own talk show and finding a G-spot (but not the one you might immediately think of!).

‘Thanks very for much a fun and interesting talk tonight.  The gang enjoyed it very much.’ Jane Ford, Stubton and District WI

An Accidental Author

How a pony mad child, banned from writing about horses by her english teacher, got her own back and became a best selling author of horsy humour, and set off down a whole new path.

These two talks are great for any group that wants a speaker to provide some levity and humour to their event. They can be 20 mins to 1 hour.

One for Autumn 2012: Going grey gorgeously

A humorous look at the process of gathering wisdom along with the grey hairs!

This one will be available from Autumn 2012 because I am still on the journey of growing my grey hair and gathering grey haired wisdom, so will have more to share later in the year!

 Mistress of Ceremonies and Interviewer

If you need a skilled and experienced interviewer or a mistress of ceremonies for your event, then I would love to do that for you too. And I am much cheaper than Stephen Fry!

‘Tina B is a fabulous interviewer and draws out the best from her guests with ease.  She has a wonderfully sensitive yet intelligent approach that gets to the core quickly without being invasive, her warm and abundant personality makes you feel like you’ve known her forever, Thanks Tina for a magical interview….’  Pauline Crawford, Ambassador of Magical Conversations
